A longtime family favorite, s’mores are a classic campfire treat enjoyed by both kids and adults alike. Yet, while it’s undeniable that campfires and s’mores go hand in hand, there are actually other easy ways to make s’mores that you might not know about. This article from Kraft Recipes explains how to make s’mores in the microwave, in the toaster oven and on the grill. After all, a treat this tasty deserves to be appreciated year-round! Explore three alternative ways to make s’mores today.

What You Need

When it comes to making s’mores, the ingredients couldn’t be any simpler: graham crackers, chocolate and marshmallows. For four servings, we recommend the following:

  • 4 HONEY MAID Honey Grahams, broken in half (8 squares)
  • 4 JET-PUFFED Marshmallows, toasted
  • 1 Milk Chocolate Bar (1.55 oz.), quartered

Of course, there are other fun ingredients you can add if you want to jazz up your s’mores. (Peanut butter, hazelnut spread, raspberries and sliced strawberries are a few of our faves!) But if you want to keep it classic, you can’t go wrong with the three traditional s’mores ingredients listed above.

How to Make S’mores: Microwave

  1. Place 1 graham cracker square on a microwaveable plate.
  2. Top the graham cracker square with marshmallows and chocolate.
  3. Microwave on HIGH for 10 seconds or until marshmallows begin to puff.
  4. Cover with remaining graham cracker square.

How to Make S’mores: Toaster Oven

  1. Heat the toaster oven to 350ºF.
  2. Fill the graham squares with marshmallows and chocolate.
  3. Place the graham crackers squares on a foil-covered tray.
  4. Bake for 3 minutes or until the marshmallows begin to melt.

How to Make S’mores: Grill

  1. Heat the grill to medium heat.
  2. Fill the graham squares with marshmallows and chocolate.
  3. Wrap the filled graham cracker squares in foil.
