Cooking Know-How

Make a well in the center of the flour mixture before adding the buttermilk. Add the buttermilk all at once, then stir just until blended. Don't worry if small pieces of cream cheese remain in the dough before rolling it out, cutting into squares and baking as directed.

Mindful Eating

Practice mindful eating by savoring the flavor of these biscuits and sticking to the recommended serving size.

Cheddar-Chive Biscuits

Prepare recipe as directed, stirring 1 cup KRAFT Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese and 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives into the flour mixture before cutting in the cream cheese and butter.

Chocolate-Cherry Biscuits

Combine dry ingredients. Coarsely chop 2 oz. BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate; stir into flour mixture along with 3/4 cup chopped dried cherries. Add buttermilk, then continue as directed, brushing tops of dough squares evenly with additional 1 Tbsp. buttermilk, and sprinkling evenly with 2 Tbsp. coarse sugar before baking as directed.
